The Terrell Police Department is investigating two deaths tonight, October 28, 2013, after a body was found inside a home of what police believe was an arson fire. The other body was found only two short blocks away.
Investigators are still not saying whether there is any evidence to suggest these two deaths are related but the Texas Rangers and Terrell Fire Marshals are investigating.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., fire crews responded to a home in the 300 block of Stallings Street in Terrell, Texas, on a report of a house fire. The fire was contained inside the residence and was quickly extinguished. A short time later, police and fire marshals taped the area off as an active crime scene after the discovery of the body.
Another death is being investigated just two short blocks north on Tyler Street. The latest on this story is here: http://inforney.com/crime/item/1378-terrell-pd-five-confirmed-dead-after-shooting-spree-suspect-in-custody
