TERRELL, Texas — Three people were killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 20 in Terrell on Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement officials tell inForney.com.

TERRELL, Texas — Three people were killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 20 in Terrell on Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement officials tell inForney.com.

The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 20 just west of State Highway (SH) 34 and involved two 18-wheelers and a pickup truck.

One of the 18-wheelers and the pickup truck engulfed in flames. Three people inside the pickup truck were killed in the crash.

Tuesday night, police identified the deceased as 77-year-old Benjamin Welch, 72-year-old Linda Welch, and 49-year-old Alice Little of Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

Eastbound Interstate 20 reopened just after 9 p.m., according to Terrell Police Department Corporal Z. Boyd.

Two others were reportedly hospitalized as a result of the crash. Their current conditions are unknown.

Investigators have not released details on what led to the fatal crash.
