Last night Thursday, June 14 2012, wrapped up the end of the 2012 Forney Youth Baseball Association's (FYBA) Spring Season. The League Champions of each division were awarded individual player trophies and coaches trophies in a first ever end of season trophy presentation ceremony. Second place teams were also awarded individual player trophies.
Last night Thursday, June 14 2012, wrapped up the end of the 2012 Forney Youth Baseball Association's (FYBA) Spring Season. The League Champions of each division were awarded individual player trophies and coaches trophies in a first ever end of season trophy presentation ceremony. Second place teams were also awarded individual player trophies.
The FYBA presented two other awards for Umpire of the Year, Jimmy Tustin, and Volunteer of the Year, Kevin Buie. FYBA President Bobby Bridges also gave a special thanks to all coaches and parents, “without them Forney Youth Baseball wouldn't be possible”.
Forney Youth Baseball City Tournament winners, with the exception of those who have not yet played, were also recognized with a 1st & 2nd place medal. The 5U and 11&12U teams will play their tournament next week and will be recognized on the field after the completion of their games next Friday, June 15, 2012.
