CRANDALL, Texas — Cross country runners from Crandall and Kaufman will compete at the state meet today in Round Rock, Texas, alongside hundreds of other qualifiers from across the state.

CRANDALL, Texas — Cross country runners from Crandall and Kaufman will compete at the state meet today in Round Rock, Texas, alongside hundreds of other qualifiers from across the state.

The UIL Cross Country State Championships meet with be held at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas.

Class 4A competitors will start the meet off with the girls 3200m at 8:30 a.m. and the boys 5K at 9 a.m.

Qualifiers from Crandall are seniors Dylan Thomas and Kylie Purifoy.

Qualifiers from Kaufman are: seniors Andrea Gandara, Vivian Glick, Kendall Pearson, Alicia Robledo, Jasmin Venegas, and Tyler Kotwitz; juniors Leslie Gonzalez, Jesus Leija, Noah McBride, and Patrick Mitchell; sophomores Amanda Rodriguez, Spencer Keith, and Carlos Sanchez; and freshman Christian Rivera.
