The Forney Jackrabbits and North Forney Falcons will both field their varsity football teams on Friday, August 31, 2012, and officially kick-off a new season. Both teams got a glimpse of unfamiliar faces last Friday during their scrimmage matches. The Forney Jackrabbits scrimmaged against Wylie East at City Bank Stadium and the North Forney Falcons scrimmaged against Little Elm at the Little Elm Athletic Complex.

The Forney Jackrabbits scrimmaged against Wylie East at City Bank Stadium and the North Forney Falcons scrimmaged against Little Elm at the Little Elm Athletic Complex.
The North Forney Falcons varsity team will get a unique venue playing against Frisco at Pizza Hut Park in the FC Dallas Stadium, Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Although this game is not a district game, this will be the first game that the North Forney Falcons will be playing in UIL Class 4A, District 10. This is also the first year for new head coach Lance Gary who was previously the head coach at Gainesville High School.
The Forney Jackrabbits varsity team will take the field at City Bank Stadium against Royse City at 7:30 p.m. The Jackrabbits made the move from District 15-4A to District 10-4A for the 2012-2014 seasons. Both teams will compete in district against Highland Park, Poteet, Carrollton Creekview, Terrell, West Mesquite, and Carrollton Newman Smith.
The Forney Jackrabbit's JV and Freshman teams played against Royse City on Thursday night, August 30th. The Jackrabbits JV team beat the Royse City Bulldogs in Royse City, 26-12, and the Jackrabbits Freshman team lost at home, 14-10.
