FORNEY, Texas — The Forney High School (5-1) volleyball team dropped their home district matchup against Rockwall-Heath High School (6-0) on Tuesday night, 3-1.
In the first two sets, Rockwall-Heath defeated Forney 25-9 and 25-18. Forney sealed a close victory in the third set, 25-23. But Rockwall ended the series with a 25-16 win in the fourth set.
Rockwall-Heath, who now leads District 12-5A undefeated at 6-0, gave Forney their first district loss on the season, positioning Forney in second place with a 5-1 record.
The Forney High School Lady Jackrabbits will next play South Garland High School on October 2, 2015, at home.
