FORNEY, Texas — The Forney High School Jackrabbits and North Forney High School Falcons softball teams are advancing to the area-round playoffs after handily defeating their bi-district foes last week.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney High School Jackrabbits and North Forney High School Falcons softball teams are advancing to the area-round playoffs after handily defeating their bi-district foes last week.
The Forney High School Jackrabbits, the 12-5A District Champions, advanced to the area-round playoffs after a 23-0 win over Hillcrest on Thursday, April 28, 2016 — securing a Bi-District Championship. The Jackrabbits will face The Colony on Friday and Saturday in a best-of-three series.
The North Forney High School Falcons, which were a state top-ranked team beginning the season, advanced to the area-round playoffs after defeating Newman Smith in two games in a best-of-three series. The Falcons will advance to the area-round of playoffs in a matchup against Wylie High School.
A regional quarterfinal matchup between Forney High School and North Forney High School is possible if both teams advance through their area-round matches.
