Forney, Texas – Several athletes from Forney High School and North Forney High School have recently been named to the District 10-4A All-District football teams, as voted by district coaches. Others also received top accolades, academic awards, and honorable mentions.
Forney, Texas – Several athletes from Forney High School and North Forney High School have recently been named to the District 10-4A All-District football teams, as voted by district coaches. Others also received top accolades, academic awards, and honorable mentions.
Forney High School's quarterback Luke Skipper was voted Sophomore of the Year. With early season troubles in the pocket for the Jackrabbits, Skipper proved to his coaches he had what it took to lead the team the rest of the season as their quarterback.
North Forney High School's Armani Watts was also one of the most notables making three first-team spots at wide receiver, safety, and return specialist. Watts has also verbally committed to Texas A&M University. Armani Watts was also named first-team all-state defensive back for the 2013 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 4A football team.
