FORNEY, Texas — Forney High School’s senior running back Michael Prox is in the running for WFAA-TV’s Player of the Week poll for his performance in the first round of the UIL playoffs.
In Forney High School’s District 5A Bi-District matchup against Bryan Adams last Friday, Prox amassed seven touchdowns and a combined 298 yards of total offense in the first half of the game. Pros scored on runs of one, 30, 38, 24, 24, and catches of 66 and 21 yards.
Prox's efforts helped the Jackrabbits put up an outstanding 42 points in the second quarter alone.

The Jackrabbits will head to the area-round playoffs against Frisco Lone Star on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. at Clark Stadium in Plano, Texas.
