Four Forney Independent School District Cross Country runners are heading to the Cross Country State Championships on November 9, 2013.
The runners will compete at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas. Caylon McMillan and Kiana Hawn will be representing Forney High School. Kyle Garcia and Yakeshia Royal will be representing North Forney High School.
On Saturday, November 2, 2013, McMillan finished 5th overall in the regional competition at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Praire, Texas. Garcia finished in 6th, Royal in 7th, and Hawn in 10th.
The girls Conference 4A event will begin at 11:40 a.m. and the boys Conference 4A will begin at 12:10 p.m.
