FORNEY, Texas — Frisco Lone Star (2-0) handed North Forney (0-2) an upsetting Week 2 48-7 loss at Frisco’s Independent School District’s Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

FORNEY, Texas — Frisco Lone Star (2-0) handed North Forney (0-2) an upsetting Week 2 48-7 loss at Frisco’s Independent School District’s Memorial Stadium on Friday night.

Frisco held North Forney scoreless in the first half while racking up 38 of their own points. North Forney would score its lone touchdown late in the 4th quarter while allowing another Frisco touchdown and field goal adding up to an eventual 48-7 loss.

North Forney completed 130 total yards on 7 first downs — compared to 473 on 25 for Frisco. Jermaine Gardner led the Falcons’ offense with 18 carries for 63 yards and a pass completion to Kyle Hogwood for 33 yards to setup the Falcons’ lone touchdown. After a Khari Dickinson 19-yard carry and first down, Gardner completed a 4-yard rush for the touchdown with 5:44 left on the game clock.

North Forney will play Dallas Molina in Week 3 in an away matchup on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.
