The Forney Youth Baseball Association's Challenger League Team will be traveling to Waco early Saturday morning, May 19th, 2012, to participate in the Shriners Hospital for Children Baseball Classic Tournament.
The Forney Youth Baseball Association's Challenger League Team will be traveling to Waco early Saturday morning, May 19th, 2012, to participate in the Shriners Hospital for Children Baseball Classic Tournament.
As covered in a previous inForney.com exclusive, the team will be playing at the Baylor University baseball field with other Challenger League teams from all over Texas.
Bobby Bridges, FYBA President, would like to invite everyone out to cheer these amazing kids on as they prepare and load the bus at Mulberry field at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. He also stated, “ On behalf of the FYBA we'd like to thank two local businesses for donating to help charter the bus that will take the team to and from Waco.” Farm Bureau Insurance and Leake and Blair PC Attorneys both of Forney made donations for the chartered bus that will transport the team and for a paid meal on the return trip.
