With 4:27 of play remaining in the first quarter, Devon Rideaux connected with Brendan Vaughn on an 8-yard pass for the gameβs first touchdown and what would be the Jackrabbits sole touchdown on the night.
The Highland Park Scots would remain scoreless in the first quarter but would go on to score 44 uncontested points in the remaining quarters β 27 in the second, 7 in the third, and 10 in the fourth.
With the win, the Scots remain undefeated in District 15-5A.
Vaughn, an OSU commit, led the Jackrabbits offense with 73 receiving yards, 5 rushing yards, and a touchdown.
The Jackrabbits will next play fourth-ranked district opponent Wylie East on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at City Bank Stadium.
