FORNEY, Texas — Several Forney High School student-athletes signed letters of intent on February 4, 2016, to continue playing their respective sports at the college level.

FORNEY, Texas — Several Forney High School student-athletes signed letters of intent on February 4, 2016, to continue playing their respective sports at the college level.

The commitment made on National Signing Day for dual-threat quarterback standout Luke Skipper, a three-star recruit on 247Sports.com, didn’t come as a surprise when he officially signed with the University of Tulsa after a verbal commitment in October of last year.

Fellow football player Emmanuel Karimi signed with Tyler Junior College.

In soccer, Matthew Hoffman signed with Oral Roberts University, Parker O’Quinn signed with Southwestern College, Kenna Williams signed with Midwestern State University , and Kaley Wagle signed with Otero Colorado.

In softball, Allyson Gafford sigh with Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Brooke Lee signed with Hutchinson Community College, Jaycee McIntyre signed with Trinity Valley Community College, and Sidney Stewart signed with Texas Wesleyan University.

“They have worked hard and we wish them the best of luck as they continue their education and sports in college,” stated the Forney Independent School District in a release.
