KAUFMAN, Texas (Kaufman Indepdent School District, Stephanie Frosch) - Matt Mosley (@mattmosley), co-host of The Afternoon Show with Cowlishaw and Mosley weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. on KESN-FM 103.3, ESPN Radio, flipped the pre-game coin at Friday night’s Kaufman vs. Denton Braswell football game.
He also joined first-time student broadcasters and KHS SMAT (Studio Media and Technology) teachers Stephen Armstrong and Seth Garlitz in the press box for some play-by-play, on-air, football action.
Coach Armstrong commented on Friday’s live broadcast experience: “It was an honor to meet Matt and have him in the booth with the students during the broadcast. All of the students involved were so excited after he came by and helped call part of the game. The students commented on how professional he was during their time on the air together. He gave us all such great advice and insight about broadcasting. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is good for our students to see former Kaufman graduates making their mark on the world and to see that what they are working on in the classroom can lead to great opportunities in their future.”
Matt is a 1991 graduate of Kaufman High School and is the son of Marilyn and John Mosley of Kaufman. In addition to his radio show, Mosley has written for the Dallas Morning News, ESPN.com, and Texas Monthly.
