FORNEY, Texas — The North Forney High School boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Waxahachie Woodhouse Invitational over the weekend.
The varsity girls finished 11th overall, according to coach Almarie Soto-Ortiz. Senior Sydnei Crouch placed 15th with a time of 20:35. Crouch was followed by sophomore Haley Colleps who finished with a time of 21:56.
The varsity boys finished 9th overall. Senior John Allen placed 18th overall with a time of 17:34. Allen was followed by incoming freshman Hayden Blalock with a time of 18:22.
The junior varsity boys finished 7th overall. Incoming freshman Christian Frank led the team finishing 9th overall with a time of 19:07.
