FORNEY, Texas — Several North Forney High School volleyball players were recognized at the team’s annual awards banquet last month.
The banquet, hosted by the North Forney Lady Falcons Booster Club, was held at the Forney Independent School District Administration building just before the Christmas break.
The banquet gave the coaches an opportunity to recognize the players, according to the district’s website. “It was a great job by our girls this year and there are lots of good things to come next season.”
Andrea Davis was selected as the JV Player of the Year and Paige Linney was selected as the Freshman Player of the Year.
On varsity, Taylyn Cantu was selected as the Varsity Offensive Player of the Year and Eryn Bearden was selected as the Varsity Defensive Player of the Year.
Charmece King was awarded the Lady Falcon HEART award.
