Rockwall-Heath scored at least once in every quarter following a slow first half of the game, scoring once in the 1st quarter and once in the 2nd quarter.
North Forney’s first points came after a failed 14-play drive in the 2nd quarter which was lost due to a fumble in the red zone but later turned back around with a North Forney interception after three Hawk plays. North Forney’s Drew Lindler kicked a 26-yard field goal to bring the score going into halftime 14-3 with Rockwall-Heath in the lead.
North Forney and Rockwall-Heath each scored twice in the 3rd quarter but North Forney remained scoreless in the 4th quarter compared to 20 points for Rockwall-Heath for a final score of 48-16.
North Forney completed 227 total yards with 14 first downs — 85 rushing and 142 passing. Scoring for the Falcons was Lindler on the first field goal, Lorenzo Wright off a 16-yard Colby Suits pass, and Christian Duke on a fumble recovery.
Rockwall-Heath completed 290 total yards with 15 first downs — 193 rushing and 97 passing. Scoring for the Hawks was Tyler McCallister on a 16-yard run and a 1-yard run, Canaan Smith on a 7-yard run and two back-to-back 1-yard goal line runs, Tanner McCallister on a 42-yard run, and Jordan Kempf on a 15-yard run.
