FORNEY, Texas — North Forney High School junior Colby Suits was named to the U.S. Army National Combine all-combine team.
Suits was among approximately 600 underclassman from all over the country who attended the U.S. Army National Combine last week in San Antonio, Texas, which was held in association with the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
“The National Combine focuses on measuring speed, strength, quickness, and football skill, while also providing educational seminars touching on the recruiting process, speed and strength improvement, and leadership,” states the U.S. Army All-American Bowl’s website.
“The National Combine is specifically designed to highlight the football abilities and talents of today’s rising underclassmen and tomorrow’s high school, college, and NFL stars,” reads the website.
Suits was selected as one of three quarterbacks to the U.S. Army National Combine All-Combine 2nd Team Offense.
As a junior, Suits passed for 2,176 yards and 22 touchdowns for the North Forney High School Falcons (4-6, 1-6).
