FORNEY, Texas — The North Forney High School softball team (21-2) is heading to a best-of-three series beginning tomorrow against The Colony High School after a dominating 16-0 win over Bryan Adams High School in the bi-district round last week.
FORNEY, Texas — The North Forney High School softball team (21-2) is heading to a best-of-three series beginning tomorrow against The Colony High School after a dominating 16-0 win over Bryan Adams High School in the bi-district round last week.
The Falcons scored one run in the first inning, one run in the second inning, and 14 runs in the third inning to run-rule the game, 16-0, in the bottom of the third inning.
The first game in their series against The Colony will be played on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Plano West High School which is located at 5601 West Parker Road in Plano, Texas. Game two will be played on Saturday at noon at Plano West High School and, if needed, game three will be played 30 minutes after game two at the same field.
The Falcons quickly reached the run-rule in the third inning allowing a no-hitter for freshman pitcher Andrea Decareau who threw seven strikeouts.
