FORNEY, Texas — Top-ranked District 10-5A contender Prosper High School bumped the District 12-5A North Forney High School volleyball team out of the playoffs in the second round.
North Forney had already made school history by becoming the first team in the school’s young history to become Bi-District Champions with their win over Newman Smith High School last week, 4-1.
The Prosper High School Eagles beat the North Forney Falcons in three sets, 25-11, 25-10, 25-12, Thursday night, November 6, 2014, at Newman Smith High School.
Prosper will advance to the regional quarterfinals and face-off against the winner of the Forney and Frisco Centennial game, also being played tonight. We’ll keep you posted on the results of that matchup.
