FORNEY, Texas — South Garland’s (1-6, 1-3) offense proved to be too much for North Forney High School (1-6, 0-4) at Forney’s City Bank Stadium on Friday night, October 17, 2014.

Baker threw for 256 yards, two touchdowns, and snuck in a touchdown of his own on a quarterback keeper just before halftime.

North Forney lost two scored touchdowns and South Garland lost one due to penalties with both teams receiving eight penalties for 85 and 86 yards, respectively.

North Forney’s Jaire Moore scored late in the third quarter on a 6-yard run but South Garland answered with one of their own just over a minute later when Baker connected with Sedberry for what would be the final touchdown of the game.

North Forney will next play West Mesquite (5-2, 2-2) on Friday, October 23, 2014, at Mesquite Memorial Stadium in Mesquite, Texas.
