FORNEY, Texas — Two Terrell High School and two Forney High School football players have made appearances on the 2015 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 5A all-state high school football team, released last week.
The players were voted on by Associated Press sports editors on their regular-season performance.
From Forney High School, senior quarterback Luke Skipper received an honorable mention as quarterback — among only 10 on the list. Sophomore Jaylon Hutchings was an honorable mention at lineman.
Terrell High School’s Dawonya Tucker was an honorable mention at running back and Ja’Quavion Daniels was an honorable mention at defensive back.
The players were selected among 252 Class 5A schools across the state, according to UIL enrollment numbers.
