On Friday night, September 20, 2013, the Forney High School Lady Jackrabbits swept Newman Smith 3-0 at home. After a disappointing loss earlier this week to Carrollton Creekview, the Lady Jackrabbits took out their frustration on Carrollton Newman Smith.
The Lady Jackrabbits more than doubled the Lady Trojans points in a 25-12 win in game one. The Lady Jackrabbits annihilated the Trojans in game two, 25-6. The Trojans put up a fight in game three but weren't able to stop the Jackrabbits win, 25-20.
The win tonight puts the Lady Jackrabbits district season at 2-1 and third in the district behind Carrollton Creekview and Highland Park. The Lady Jackrabbits overall season record is 17-7.
The Forney High School Lady Jackrabbits will play against Terrell next Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Forney High School.
