FORNEY, Texas – The Forney High School Jackrabbits (10-7) volleyball swept Irving Nimitz High School Vikings (10-10) in three sets at their Friday night non-district matchup, September 5, 2014.
Forney defeated Nimitz 25-17, 25-19, and 29-27 at Forney High School. The junior varsity and freshman teams also swept their Nimitz opponents.
Forney High School will play Rockwall High School, another non-district matchup, next week on September 9, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Rockwall High School.
District play for the Jackrabbits begins with an away-game matchup on Friday, September 12, 2014, against West Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.
