FORNEY, Texas — The Forney High School Lady Jackrabbits will be heading to the playoffs with 2nd place in District 12-5A clinched and a game remaining on the season.
With one game remaining in district play, the Lady Jackrabbits (11-2) are currently in 2nd place in District 12-5A behind Rockwall-Heath High School (13-0).
The Lady Jackrabbits will play their final district matchup on Tuesday night, October 27, 2015, against South Garland High School. The team will move to a playoff warmup match at Irving Nimitz High School on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., according to the district’s website.
First-round playoff information, including site, time, and team, are still pending.
