Volleyball: Frisco eliminates Forney from playoffs in Bi-District defeat

In the first set, Frisco's Morgan Haire served 13 times straight to start of the Bi-District matchup 12-1 in Frisco's favor. Frisco went on to win the first set 25-8. Forney was slowly recovering from the bad start but ultimately lost the next two sets, 25-12 and 25-16.

The loss bumps Forney out of the playoffs and sends Frisco to the second round of playoffs in an Area matchup against the winner of tonight's Pinkston versus Woodrow Wilson game at the Ellis Davis Fieldhouse in Dallas, Texas.

Forney's season ends with an overall record of 21-10, a District 10-4A record of 10-4, and a 3rd place finish in district.

Player highlights from the Frisco matchup include Jessica Tennis with 18 assists, 6 digs, 1 block, and the team's only ace on the night. Jordan Yates racked up 12 digs and 4 kills and Mckenzie Black had 11 digs.
