The North Forney Falcons kept the Terrell Tigers to a winless season by defeating them in a 3-0 sweep. The Falcons played at home and earlier than normal in order to attend the homecoming ceremony at the North Forney Falcons football game at City Bank Stadium.

The Falcons won the three sets 25-10, 25-13, and 25-15. The win puts North Forney 3-2 in 10-4A District play and in a 3-way tie in district for third with Forney and Mesquite Poteet.
Player highlights include Breanna Powell with an impressive 31 digs and 3 aces. Marilyn Rizzato with 10 kills, 1 dig, and 1 block. Peyton Hedrick with 9 kills, 8 digs, 4 aces, and 1 block. Morgan Fischer had 9 digs, 2 aces, and 1 kill.
North Forney will play Forney next week on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Both teams are 3-2 in 10-4A in district.
