The West Mesquite Wranglers travelled to Forney's City Bank Stadium on Friday night, November 2, to play against the Forney Jackrabbits. With the win against the Jackrabbits, the Wranglers clinched an early playoff berth in District 10-4A.

The Forney Jackrabbits lone score of the game came from Forney's Marcus White in the second quarter. Marcus White returned a kickoff, after a Wrangler touchdown, for 95 yards with 10:32 left in the second quarter.

The second quarter ended with the Wranglers scoring another 14 points making it 21-7. The West Mesquite Wranglers put an additional 13 points up in the 3rd quarter and 7 points in the 4th quarter. Final score of the game was 41-7 in favor of the West Mesquite Wranglers.

The Forney Jackrabbits will head to Carrollton's Standbridge Stadium on Thursday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. for their final district game of the season. Forney and Carrollton Newman Smith are both going into the next game with overall season records of 4-5.
